Our Services

Families facing childhood cancer, serious illness, or complex medical needs often need support immediately—not eventually. The Logan Strong Foundation provides direct support, with a primary focus on families in our local community.

Families may receive immediate relief through essentials such as gas and grocery gift cards, helping ease everyday financial stress while they focus on their child’s care. This support includes families receiving treatment at pediatric hospitals and centers like the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Albany Medical Center, as well as other care settings throughout our region.

Beyond immediate assistance, LSF offers personalized support based on each family’s needs. This may include fulfilling family wish lists, coordinating fundraising efforts to offset treatment-related expenses, and providing professional cleaning services to reduce stress at home.

LSF provides tangible comfort items for children undergoing treatment, including Ocho™, our crocheted octopus comfort companion, and “No Touching” signs that help children communicate boundaries and feel safer during medical care.

While our work is rooted locally, families anywhere may submit an application for support. LSF has assisted families beyond New York, including those in Florida, Texas, and other states, when needs align with our mission and capacity.

In addition, LSF invests in community care through hospital enhancements, nonprofit partnerships, resource connections, and awareness, education, and legacy initiatives.
